The administrative center is the village of Liman [4] .
Geography
It was located in the western part of the Ipatovo district, 7 km from the regional center [5] and 135 km northeast of the regional center . The territory of the village council bordered in the northeast with the Apanasenkovsky district , in the west with the Vinodelnensky village council , in the south with the Turkmen district , and in the southeast with the Malo-Barkhanchak village council . The total area of the municipality was 217.7 km² [6] .
History
Since May 1, 2017, all municipalities of the Ipatovo municipal district, including the Liman Village Council, have been transformed, by combining them, into the Ipatovo City District [2] .
