History

On the map of the St. Petersburg province of F.F. Schubert in 1834, the village of Krupino is mentioned [2] .

On the ethnographic map of the St. Petersburg province of P. I. Köppen in 1849, it is mentioned as the village "Krupina", inhabited by the Germans [3] .

In the explanatory text of the ethnographic map, it is recorded as the village of Krupina ( Krupino ) and the number of its inhabitants for 1848 is indicated: “Germans and Gypsies” - 17 mp., 15 w. n., a total of 32 people [4] .

The village of Krupino is indicated on the map of Professor S. S. Kutorgi in 1852 [5] .

According to the “Topographic Map of Parts of the St. Petersburg and Vyborg Provinces” in 1860, the village of Krupino consisted of 2 peasant households [7] .

Krupino - a state colony at the wells, the number of yards - 2, the number of inhabitants: 13 m., 8 w. p. (1862) [8]

In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Kotelsky volost of the 2nd camp of the Yamburg district of the St. Petersburg province.

According to the topographic map of 1930, the village was called Krupina and consisted of 9 yards [9] .

According to 1933, the village was called Kruppino and was part of the Kotelsky village council of Kingisepp district [10] .

According to the topographic map of 1938, the village was called Krupina and also consisted of 9 yards.

According to data from 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Krupino was part of the Kotelsky village council of Kingisepp district [11] [12] [13] .

In 1997, 8 people lived in the village of Krupino , in 2002 - 14 people (all Russians), in 2007 - also 8 [14] [15] [16] .

Geography

The village is located in the north-eastern part of the region east of the highway 41K-110 ( Kotly - Urmizno ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 10 km [16] .

The distance to the railway platform of Nikolaev - 2 km [11] .

The river Suma flows through the village.
