K-3 - Soviet trailed double-row potato harvester . It is aggregated with the DT-54 tractor.
It began to be produced at Ryazselmash in 1960, in 1964 production was moved to new production facilities and continued there until the end of the 60s [1] . At the same time, the KGP-2 combine [2] was also produced at the Kolomensky plant , and then at Ryazselmash, but K-3 was more common [3] .
Principle of Operation
A two-section flat share 1 with active sidewalls digs a bed and delivers a layer to the main bar elevator 2 . For more intensive separation, an adjustable amplitude forced shaking mechanism is built into the elevator. Tubers with tops and remaining soil pass between pneumatic balloons 3 , destroying lumps, and enter a two-sieve screen 4 , on which the soil is separated. From the roar, the mass enters the conveyor 5 with pneumatic cylinders 4 and then through the rarefied bar conveyor 7 to the separating elevator 6 . From there, the remaining soil and tubers fall into the drum conveyor 10 , and the tops and plant impurities are captured by the rods of the conveyor of the topping device. When passing the tops between the pressure conveyor 9 and the pick roller 8, the tubers on the tops break off and also enter the drum. Drum conveyor mass on an inclined pick-up conveyor 11 , which partially separates tubers and impurities. Workers standing on each side remove impurities from the tuber stream, and tubers from the stream of impurities. Impurities from the picker go to the transverse belt conveyor 13 and are carried out by him from the harvester to the field. Pure intermediate conveyor 12 are fed into the storage conveyor. From it, potatoes directly on the go enters the vehicle traveling nearby.
