Ed Dayian ( Arabic. الضعاين ) is one of seven municipalities in Qatar . The administrative center and largest city is Ed-Dayyan .

Geography
The municipality of Ed-Dayan is located in the eastern part of Qatar. In the north and north-west it borders with the municipality of El Khor , in the west with the municipality of Umm Salal , in the south and southeast with the municipality of Ed Doha , in the east it is washed by the Persian Gulf . The area of the municipality is 236 km² [1] .
Population
According to the official census, the population of the municipality in 2015 was 54,339 people (36,045 men and 18,294 women). There were 4876 households with a total of 30,163 people. The number of foreign workers living in labor camps was 24,276 people [2] . The dynamics of the population of the municipality by year:
