Adonara ( indon. Pulau Adonara ) is one of the islands of the Solor archipelago, which is part of the Lesser Sunda Islands . Administratively, it is part of the East Flores district of the Indonesian province of East Nusa Tengara .

Located east of the island of Flores , northeast of the island of Solor and west of the island of Lomblin . Maximum height - 1659 m above sea level ( Ili-Boleng volcano ); the coastline is 104.6 km [1] . Adonara Square - 497 km² [2] . The largest settlement is the village of Waiverang.
The population of the island speaks the Adonar language, which belongs to the Austronesian language family [3] .
