Kurovo is a village in the Ruzsky district of the Moscow region , part of the rural settlement of Ivanovo . The population of 28 people in 2006 [1] . Until 2006, Kurovo was part of the Ivanovo rural district [2] .

The village is located in the north-west of the district, near the border with the Volokolamsk district , about 15 kilometers north-west of Ruza , on the banks of one of the northern bays of the Ruzsky reservoir (former river valley ( Pednya ) [3] , center height above sea level 188 m. [4] . In the north, almost the village of Novokurovo adjoins, 1.5 km to the south-west - Shcherbinki .
