Safronov, Arseniy Mikhailovich

Arseny Mikhailovich Safronov (June 24, 1903, the village of Andronikha Lotoshinsky District, Moscow Region - October 13, 1957, Moscow) - Soviet statesman, in 1939-1940 and 1945-1949 People's Commissar (Minister) of Finance of the RSFSR.

In 1920-1923 - district financial inspector of the district financial department of the People’s Commissariat of Mariupol. After serving in the army - a financial agent, financial inspector, head of the tax department of the Moscow City Finance Department.

Member of the CPSU (b) since 1927.

In 1934-1937 the head. Stalin district financial department in Moscow, deputy. Head of Moscow City Administration.

In 1937 he graduated from the faculty of special purposes at the People's Commissariat of Finance of the USSR.

• In 1937-1938 - manager of the Moscow City Administration.
• From October 1939 to March 1940, People's Commissar of Finance of the RSFSR.
• 1940-1945 Deputy Chairman of the Board of the State Bank of the USSR
• July 1945 - 07/12/1949 People's Commissar - Minister of Finance of the RSFSR
• 07/12/1949 - 10/13/1957 1st Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR.

He was elected as a deputy of the Supreme Council of the USSR of the 4th convocation.

He died on October 13, 1957 in Moscow, and was buried in the Novodevichy cemetery .
