Biography
Born and raised in Kuzbass. After graduating from high school in Novosibirsk, he went to study in Tomsk , where he received his first professional education, graduating in 1977 from the philological faculty of the famous Tomsk State University . Here Lev Erenburg studied on the same course as the future famous Tomsk writer Vladimir Kostin , lived in hostel No. 4 on 49 Lenin Ave. It was with his participation in the university that the famous TSU Literary and Art Theater was born, which was also created in 1973 Faculty of Philology. Subsequently received a medical education (dentist). However, he preferred to choose art as the main business of life.
He continued his self-improvement and development of creative competencies, graduating in 1980 from the acting department of the Novosibirsk Theater School [1] ; then he graduated with honors from LGITMiK , course of G. A. Tovstonogov , specializing in drama directing (1987).
Trained and taught acting on a course with A.I. Katsman (1987-1989). Collaborated with the Moscow Studio under the direction of Eugene Arie (hereinafter referred to as the Gesher Theater); with the Finnish Drama Theater ( Petrozavodsk ), where he released an acting and directing course (1992). Since 1994, he taught at the branch of Interstudio SPbGATI , where in 1999 he graduated from a course on the basis of which the author's Small Drama Theater was created. He worked as an actor of the Novosibirsk Youth Theater , the Chita Drama Theater . He starred in several Russian films (including “ War ” by A. Balabanov ). Currently teaching acting at the Baltic Institute of Foreign Languages (BIIAM); holds master classes at the Prague Theater Institute (Czech Republic); as a director collaborates with the Moscow Art Theater. A.P. Chekhov .
Leo Ehrenburg - twice the nominee of the Golden Mask Higher National Theater Award: 2006, as the director of the performance " At the bottom " of the St. Petersburg Small Drama Theater and 2007, as the director of the performance " Thunderstorm " of the Magnitogorsk Drama Theater. A.S. Pushkin .
