Career
A graduate of the Cherepovets Severstal , at the beginning of his career he played for the youth team of his native club, then he played for the hockey club HC Lipetsk , Klinsky Titan and Glazovsky Progress .
In the 2010/2011 season, Ignashin signed a contract and made his debut in the VHL as part of the Ermak Angarsk . For two seasons in the VHL as part of the English team, the forward played 99 matches in which he scored 65 (15 + 50) points in the goal + pass system.
In the offseason, the striker was invited to Spartak Moscow , where he spent pre-season training with the team and signed a contract. However, at the end of August 2013 , the Karaganda “ Saryarka ” came to the leadership of “Spartak” with a proposal to acquire rights to the hockey player. As a result, Spartak parted with the player, receiving in return monetary compensation from newcomers of the VHL [1] .
The season 2012/2013 turned out to be successful for the hockey player. Denis Ignashin successfully fit into the Karaganda team and reached the final of the Bratin Cup with the team, where in a bitter struggle, in a seven-match confrontation, “Saryarka” lost to the Neftekamsk “ Toros ”. In total, in the 2012/2013 season, he spent 41 matches in the regular season, scoring 32 points in the goal + pass system (4 + 28) and 16 points in the playoffs (2 + 14) for 21 matches. The hockey player also had performances for the second squad of “Saryarka” playing in the Open Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan . Spent 18 matches in the second team and gave one assists.
In the 2013/2014 season, Ignashin returns to Spartak Moscow [2] . With Spartak, he is undergoing pre-season training and, finally, will make his debut in the KHL in an away match against his native Cherepovets Severstal. January 4, 2014 , was noted for an assist by Vladimir Peshekhonov , thus earning his first personal point in the KHL.
