Biography
Orthodox. From the hereditary nobles of Ryazan and Saratov provinces. Landowner of Serdobsky district (796 acres at the village of Uvarovka).
At the end of the Imperial College of Law in 1887, he was a candidate for judicial positions at the Saratov District Court. Then he was the zemsky chief of the 8th section of Serdobsky district (1891-1906) and an indispensable member of the Saratov provincial presence in the judicial part (1906-1910).
For several years, he was elected the vowel of the Serdobsky district and Saratov provincial assemblies , as well as an honorary magistrate for Serdobsky district. In 1911, he retired, having risen to the rank of full state councilor . He personally ran a farm on his estate. There was a single.
In 1912 he was elected a member of the State Duma from the Saratov province. He was part of the right faction. He was a member of the commissions: on request, on the order, on judicial reforms and on hunting. December 3, 1913 resigned as a member of the State Duma. P. S. Ikonnikov-Galitsky was elected in his place.
In 1913 he joined the Russian Assembly . After the October Revolution participated in the White movement .
In exile in Yugoslavia. Collaborated in the newspaper " New time ".
He died in 1941 in Ogulin . He was buried in the New cemetery of Belgrade.
