Founded in 1948. The only former state company that has worked in the field of tour operator services and the development of tourism in Bulgaria.
At the moment, Balkantourist is a private company, the property of BT-DS (Balkan Tourist Development Servis). The trademark Balkantourist is well known in the international tourism market.
