Clemente Rohas Perez ( isp. Clemente Rojas Pérez ; September 1, 1952 , Cartagena ) is a Colombian boxer of the lightweight category. In the early 1970s, he played for the national team of Colombia: the bronze medalist of the summer Olympic Games in Munich, the winner of many international tournaments and national championships. In the period 1974-1983 boxed at a professional level, but without any special achievements.

Biography
Clemente Rojas was born on September 1, 1952 in the city of Cartagena , Bolivar department. As a child, he dreamed of becoming a football player, but in the end he made a choice in favor of boxing, was trained in the boxing gym of the city of Barranquilla . He achieved the first serious success in the ring at the age of twenty, when, thanks to a series of successful performances, he was awarded the right to defend the honor of the country at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich . He managed to reach the semi-finals stage here, after which with a score of 2: 3 he lost to Kenyan Philip Varuinga . Having received a bronze Olympic medal, he decided to try himself among professionals and left the national team.
Rojas made his professional debut in September 1974, his first opponent Rigoberto Pertus he won by knockout in the second round. Nevertheless, his further career was not so successful, victories began to alternate with losses, and the level of rivals decreased markedly. He continued to enter the ring until 1987, but, having suffered seven defeats in a row, he decided to leave the sport, never having participated in title matches. In total, he played 27 fights in professional boxing, 9 of them finished with a victory (including 4 ahead of schedule), lost 15 times, in three cases a draw was recorded [1] .
