Content
Biography
Born into a poor peasant family.
He received his primary education, after which he was engaged in tilling on his farm with his mother (his father died in the First World War), after collectivization he worked on a collective farm .
In 1936 he was called up for active military service. He participated in the war with Finland . After demobilization, he worked at a factory in the city of Rybinsk .
May 2, 1942 was again drafted by the Rybinsk RVK of the Yaroslavl region to serve in the army. He fought on the Southwest (May 1942 - August 1943), Stepnoy (August – November 1943), the 2nd Ukrainian (November 1943 – January 1944), the 3rd Ukrainian (January – July 1944) and the 1st Ukrainian Fronts. He was wounded on July 9, 1942, May 4, 1943, August 6, 1943, September 18, 1944.
Since 1943, a member of the CPSU (b) .
By January 1945, he commanded a platoon of the 175th Guards Rifle Regiment of the 58th Guards Rifle Division of the 5th Guards Army of the 1st Ukrainian Front . He distinguished himself during the forcing of the Oder [2] .
On January 23, 1945, at the head of a group of fighters, he crossed the Oder in the area of the village of Debern (now Dobzhen Wielki 5 kilometers northwest of Opole ) and took an active part in the battles for the capture and retention of the bridgehead on its western shore.
He died on the outskirts of the village of Fischbach, Hau Upper Silesia , the German Empire (now Nevodniki , Commune Dombrova , Opole County , Poland ). He was buried in the cemetery of Soviet soldiers in the city of Kendzezhin-Kozle in the Opole Voivodeship , Poland [2] .
