The conch is round-conical, with a wide curl, the height of which is slightly less than the height of the mouth. Aperture broadly ovate, slightly elongated, oblique, with sharp, turned edges and a thin lip. Dimensions: sink height 15.0-20.0 mm; diameter 20.0-27.0 mm.
Endemic of the Western Caucasus . Distributed only on the peaks of Amuko and Sakharnaya, the rivers Ushkho and Selivanova.
A species can form local clusters of up to several tens of specimens. The total number and its trends have not been studied.
