Biography

Born July 29, 1872 in the Vyatka province , in the family of the deacon . Educated at the Vyatka Theological Seminary , then at the Moscow Theological Academy , where he was sent to public expense as the best student of the seminary.

After completing the course at the academy in 1897, at the suggestion of the Vyatka Archbishop Alexy , he entered the missionaries of the Vyatka diocese .

In 1901 he moved to the same position to serve in Blagoveshchensk on the Amur . In 1903, at the same time he occupied the position of a teacher in the history and denunciation of schism at the Blagoveshchensk Theological Seminary .

In 1904 he left the service. While in Irkutsk, he visited the V.L. Litvintsev Church Teacher Seminary, where Archimandrite and the abbot and head of the seminary consisted of Fr. John, a former inspector of the Vyatka seminary in the world, Fedor Ivanovich Smirnov .

He invited Vasily Arkadyevich to take the position of a teacher of dogma and literature and a tutor at the seminary, where Vasily Arkadyevich showed his talent. In 1905 he was elected Vyatka protivoskraskolnym diocesan missionary with an increase in salary.

His first lecture, On Modern Movements, was given by him at the Transfiguration Parish School at a solemn meeting of the Brotherhood on November 27, 1905. This lecture on the part of Tronin agrees was greeted with enthusiastic applause; on the part of the dissenters caused a storm of indignation, screams. After this lecture, he began to receive letters with threats.

His second lecture - "About Leo Tolstoy " was read in February 1906 . In March of the same year, the third lecture “Religion and Socialism” was given in the Club of the Society of Clerks. These lectures were notable for their general accessibility and caused a great exchange of opinions.

Of these lectures, only the first was printed during his lifetime. In addition, a translation of the speech of Zhorik Ponso, the chief secretary of the Union of Democrats in the Department of the Upper Seine against the candidates of the Jewish party, was printed In addition to a lecture in February 1905 on the occasion of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the discovery of the relics of St.. Innocent of Irkutsk, in the first Public Assembly, he read an essay on the theme “The Moral Image of the Prelate,” in which he gave a full and vivid description of the prelate.

During his lectures, V. A. Tronin was proclaimed the leader of the Black Hundred and sentenced by revolutionaries to the death penalty. The Department of the Russian Assembly in Irkutsk, one of the founders of which was Vasily Arkadyevich, was nominated as a candidate member of the State Duma .

On the evening of April 20, Vasily Arkadyevich left his apartment for a walk and disappeared. On the morning of April 25, after a long search, his body was found with a broken head and a rope around his neck. His mutilated corpse lay on a mountain, not far from the estate of the church-teacher's seminary. The circumstances of death remained unclear.
