Geography
The village of Krasotynovka is located in the western part of the Dolgorukovsky district , 11 km west of the village of Dolgorukovo . Located on the banks of the Olshanets river, at the confluence of a small stream. There is a big dam in the south.
History
Krasotynovka was founded no later than the 2nd half of the 19th century . In the "Lists of populated places" of the Oryol province of 1866, it is mentioned as "the village owner Krasotivka (Bokeyeva) with wells, 34 yards, 413 inhabitants . " The second name is from the surname of the owner of the land of the landowner Bokeyev (or Bakeev).
According to the 1926 census, 110 yards and 600 inhabitants are listed in Krasotynovka. In 1932 - 717 inhabitants [2] .
During the Great Patriotic War, Krasotynovka was captured by the Nazis. On December 2, 1941, units of the 134th division of the Wehrmacht , continuing the onslaught on Dolgorukovo , captured a number of settlements to the west and north of the district center - Vyazovoye , Krasotynovka, Stegalovka , Griboedovo , thereby dropping the right flank of the 6th division of the Red Army to Krasnaya and the village of Timiryazevsky . During the Elets offensive operation on December 10, 1941, was released by the soldiers of the 331rd regiment.
Since 1928, as part of the Dolgorukovsky district of the Yelets district of the Central Chernozem region . After the separation of the Central Black Sea District in 1934, the Dolgorukovsky district became part of the Voronezh region , in 1935 - the Kursk region , and in 1939 - the Oryol region . Since January 6, 1954 as part of the Dolgorukovsky district of the Lipetsk region .

Transport
A highway passes through Krasotynovka, connecting the Dolgorukovo district center with the village of Vesyolaya . The dirt road is connected with the Bakeevsky farm and the village of Olshanka .
