Sofya Vladimir Sokolova (formerly Yulia [1] ), also known as Sonya Sokolova ( January 29, 1972 ) is a Russian Internet producer, music journalist, participant in a number of major projects in Runet . First of all, she is known as the co-founder of the first Russian music site “ Sounds.ru ”, which began work on December 19, 1996 (originally called Music.ru).

In 2013, she developed a specialization school for new media for the Higher School of Economics . From 2013 to 2015, she headed the school, becoming the director of educational programs of specialization.
In 2016, she took the position of e-business manager of the Canadian company PressReader .
