Biography

Born on August 28, 1916 in the village of Novoromanovskoye now Arzgirsky district of the Stavropol Territory .

In the Red Army from 1937 to 1940 and from 1941. Member of the Soviet-Finnish war of 1939-1940 . In the battles of World War II from June 1941. He fought on the Bryansk, Voronezh, South-West, 2nd Ukrainian fronts. Participated in defensive battles near Voronezh and Kharkov, the liberation of Ukraine, Romania, Hungary, Czechoslovakia.

On August 9, 1944, being part of a group in the vicinity of Barlad, Vaslui Romania, was the first to find the enemy. In a fire ensuing from a machine gun, he destroyed six and, together with the soldiers, captured nine infantrymen.

By order on the 2nd Ukrainian Front No. 203 / n dated October 8, 1944, Corporal Loboda was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree for the courage shown in battles with the enemy guard. [one]

On December 1-5, 1944, when preparing for the breakthrough of the enemy’s defense near the settlements of Damant, Fenieharast, Vershag east of the city of Budapest, Guard Corporal Loboda, the 7th Guards Army repeatedly went to the enemy rear and brought valuable information about the forces, means and defenses of the enemy.

By Order of the 7th Guards Army No. 42 / n dated February 13, 1945, Corporal Loboda was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree. [2]

In one of the battles during the same Budapest operation he again distinguished himself.

On February 17, 1945, he was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree again (there were still no attempts to find award documents, information about the circumstances of the battles and the order of awarding on the site “Feat of the People”, although the order was awarded). [3]

In the battle on April 4, 1945, in the area of ​​the city of Bratislava, Czechoslovakia, Sergeant Loboda, returning from a mission behind enemy lines, entered into combat with an enemy group, destroyed two opponents, and captured one.

By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of May 15, 1946, Sergeant Loboda Andrey Avtonomovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree for courage, bravery and heroism of the guard.

He lived in the city of Budennovsk. He died on October 11, 1965.
