The WBC World Cup is a professional boxers tournament held in different countries since October 18, 2013 in different weight categories . The winners receive a cash prize and the title of mandatory contender for the world title in their version.

Tournament Preliminary Information
The WBC-sponsored tournament kicks off October 18th. On this day, four fights will be held in four weight categories: lightweight (up to 57.2 kg), lightweight (up to 61.2 kg), welterweight (up to 66.7 kg) and heavyweight. All fights of the tournament will be held in the above weight categories and will be divided into four stages: preliminary fights, quarter-finals, semi-finals and final fights. The tournament will be attended by boxers who own the WBC regional belts, and in preliminary fights also boxers who occupy high places in the ratings of this boxing organization [1] .
October 17, the day before the scheduled start of the tournament, the championship was postponed due to illness of the president of the WBC , Jose Suleiman [2] .
