Biography
Taigib Omarovich Tolboev was born on August 8, 1955 in the village of Sogratl (now the Gunibsky district of Dagestan ).
In 1974, Tolboev entered and in 1978 graduated from the Yeisk Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots . After college he served in combat units.
Since 1985, in flight test work - test pilot of the representative office of the customer No. 350 of the USSR Ministry of Defense.
He took part in tests of 35 different types and modifications of helicopters and aircraft, including the Su-25 , Su-27 , Su-30 , Su-39 , Su-7B , Su-7U ", A number of MiG models and missile weapons on Su planes.
On August 8, 1995, he was in a plane crash, but survived. He participated in the battles of the second Chechen war , in August - September 1999 he evacuated civilians and wounded from the war zone [1] .
By decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 599 dated May 9, 2007 , “for courage and heroism shown in testing new types of aircraft”, Colonel Taigib Tolboev was awarded the high title of Hero of the Russian Federation with the award of the Golden Star medal [1] .
Currently, Tolboev continues to serve in the Armed Forces . He holds the position of senior test pilot - deputy head of the 350 military mission of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, accredited with the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant [1] .
He lives in the city of Ulan-Ude , was elected as a deputy of the People’s Khural of Buryatia [1] .
The elder brother of Tayhiba Tolboev is a test pilot, Hero of Russia Magomed Tolboev .
