Biography
Graduated from Ulapia Chanel College. In 1968, after graduating from the seminary, Madanga was ordained a priest. He served in the parishes of Simbu Province for several years, after which he was released from sacred vows at his request by Pope Paul VI . He was chairman of the Public Service Commission, then was the first Commissioner for Human Rights. For 18 months, he temporarily headed the administration of the province of Simbu, when the activities of the local government were suspended, and later was appointed chief adviser to Prime Minister Payas Wingti .
In 1989 - Governor General of Papua New Guinea. He died suddenly during the celebration of the New Year in his office.
