Oscar Abay-Nemesh ( Hungarian. Abay Nemes Oszkár ; September 22, 1913 - January 30, 1959 ) - Hungarian swimmer, Olympic medalist.

Oscar Abay-Nemesh was born in 1913 in Pozhoni , in the family there were 8 children with him. In 1915, the family moved to Paks .
In 1929, Oscar Abay-Nemesh won first place at the Hungarian Championship and was invited to the youth team of the country. In the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, he won the bronze medal in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay, and in 1939, the Hungarian champion in the 100 m freestyle.
After World War II, Oscar Abay-Nemesh became involved in politics; in the late 1940s, he was a member of parliament. After the events of 1956, he was unemployed for some time, then managed to get a job as a miner. He was injured in a mine accident and died in a hospital.
