History
For the first time in historical documents, the village was mentioned in the 17th century as the Prut churchyard on the Istma River , in 1705 a wooden church of the Protection of the Virgin was built, destroyed in the Time of Troubles . Subsequently, it is already mentioned, as Bogorodskoye, in the acts of inheritance of 1686, 1705, 1713, 1763. In the “ Economic notes to the general land surveying plan ” of 1796, Major A. G. Guryev was named the owner of the village and the estate under him. In 1807, his son, Dmitry Alexandrovich Guryev , built in the village a new stone church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary , which still exists today [8] [9] . Under the Guryevs, a manor is being built - the main house and two one-story outbuildings, a park with a pond, marble arbors and marble copies from Italian statues, a horse yard and other services [10] [11] . Subsequently, the heirs of Guryev sold the estate in parts.
