Roman Andreevich Ofitsinsky ( Ukrainian: Roman Andriyovich Ofitsinsky . Born March 6, 1969 , pp. Oglyadov (now Radekhovsky district, Lviv region of Ukraine ) - Ukrainian historian, poet, publicist, teacher. Doctor of Historical Sciences (2006). Professor of the Department of History of Hungary and European integration of Uzhgorod National University (2008). Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work and development prospects.

Biography

In 1993 he graduated with honors from the History Department of Uzhgorod State University, then in 1996 - graduate school at the Department of History of Ukraine of Uzhgorod.

In 1987-1989 he served in the Soviet Army in the Main Directorate of Space Orbital Facilities of the USSR Ministry of Defense at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan . He was awarded the USSR medal " " For Distinction in Military Service ", II degree.

Later - Deputy Director of the Transcarpathian Center for Social Services for Youth (1994-1996).

Deputy Chairman of the Transcarpathian Youth Democratic Union (1994-1998).

Editor-in-chief of the scientific collection "Youth-Ukraine" (1994-1997, 10 volumes). Editor-in-chief of the regional weekly newspapers Social-Democrat (1998-2002), Worldview (2002-2003).

He was an adviser to the chairman of the Transcarpathian regional public environmental and educational organization "Nature" and the chief editor of the regional newspaper "Nature" (2003-2005).

Member of the Board of the State Archive of the Transcarpathian Region (2008-2012).

Scientific and creative activities

He is the author of the monograph “The Political Development of Transcarpathia at the Ugorshchina Warehouse (1939-1944)” (1997), “The Political Development of Transcarpathia in Independent Ukraine (1991-2004)” (2005), “The New Year at the Last and First Year (1371-2008)” (2009), “Ivan Franko in the historical tricky: Interpretation, Dzherela, Inter” (2011), the textbook “European and Ukrainian Integration of Ukraine: the social aspect” (2007).

Author of poetry collections:

  • “Hurricane Thousand” (1997),
  • "Ideology of rebel" (2004),

Journalistic books:

  • “One Hundred Enemies of America” (2001),
  • “Nine Bokorasіv i Zradliva Tisza” (2003),
