Geography
The village is located 5 km to the west from the settlement center of the village Butylitsy and 26 km to the north from the regional center of the town of Melenki . It is located near the river Ushna.
Natural Resources
In the vicinity of the village grows a wide variety of species of vascular plants . The settlement is surrounded by mixed forests.
History
The village was first mentioned in the salary books of 1676 as part of the Butylitsky parish , it then had a courtyard courtyard where the clerk lived, and 11 peasant yards [2] .
In the XIX - the first quarter of the XX century, the village was part of the Butylitskaya volost of Melenkovsky district , since 1926 - as a part of Murom district . In 1859 [3] there were 74 yards in the village, in 1905 [4] - 150 yards, in 1926 [5] - 95 yards.
Since 1929, the village has been the center of the Kuzminsky Village Council of the Melenkovsky District , since 1940 - as part of the Butylitsky Village Council , since 2005 - as part of the Butylitsky rural settlement .
