He started as a child prodigy, in 1858 , at the age of seven, he gave a concert in Warsaw [2] . Then he studied composition and conducting. In the 1880s ballet conductor at the Berlin Royal Opera; in 1884 he presented there his most famous composition - the two-act ballet Nurjahd ( German: Nurjahd ), individual numbers from which (in particular, the Circassian Dance) were repeatedly published in piano arrangements. Other works by Eichelberg include light piano music: “March of Count Bismarck”, “Dance with torches on the occasion of the golden wedding of Kaiser Wilhelm and Empress Augusta ”, etc. Later on he was engaged in more pedagogical activities, in 1891 he founded his own in Berlin music school, which after the death of Eichelberg was led by Paul Elgers (since 1911 the Eichelberg-Oaks Conservatory ).
