Biography
Born June 1, 1858 in an Armenian-Gregorian family from the nobles of the Tiflis province .
Educated at the 1st Moscow Military Grammar School.
He entered military service on August 22, 1875 . He graduated from the 3rd Military Alexander School ( 1877 ). A coronch (article 22.05.1877) was issued to the 1st Volga regiment of the Terek Cossack army of the Cossack army]].
Member of the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878 . The centurion (art. 17.10.1879; for military distinctions), commanded a hundred.
Yesaul (v. 06.05.1882; for distinction). Troops foreman (art. 26.02.1900; for distinction). The commander of the second regiment. Commander of the 2nd Sunzhensk-Vladikavkaz Regiment of the Terek Cossack Army.
Colonel (01.01.1906; for distinction). Head of the Ossetian detachment. Commander of the 1st Gorsko-Mozdok Regiment of the Terek Cossack Army (06.24.1907-05.11.1912). He took part in the hostilities in Persia in 1909-1912. [one]
