Geography
The village is located by the river Tebza . [2] [3]
History
According to the Lists of the populated areas of the Russian Empire in 1872, the village belonged to the 1st camp of the Galich district of the Kostroma province . There were 13 yards in it , 43 men and 64 women lived. [2] [3]
According to the 1897 census , 115 people lived in the village (55 men and 60 women). [3]
According to the List of Populated Places of the Kostroma Province in 1907, the village belonged to the Kholm Komsomol district of the Galich district of the Kostroma province. According to the volost government, in 1907 there were 20 peasant households and 89 inhabitants. The main occupation of the villagers was painting. [3]
Before the municipal reform of 2010, the village was part of the Proninsky rural settlement. [4] [5]
