Indicative sport

An indicative sport is an indicative competition held for the purpose of promoting sports not recognized by the IOC . They are included by the organizing committee of the Olympic Games in the competition program for 1-2 sports [1] .

History

Sports demonstration was introduced in 1912 at the Summer Olympics in Sweden . After that, the majority of the organizing committees decided to hold at least one demonstration sport every Olympic Games, a traditional or popular sport in the host country of the Olympic Games.
