Hahalajvari ( Georgian. ხახალაჯვარი , Azeri. Dəmirli ) is a village of the Bolnisi municipality , Kvemo-Kartli region of the Republic of Georgia with a 98% Azerbaijani population . [5] It is located in the south-eastern part of Georgia, in the territory of the historic Borchaly region .

Changes to Place
In 1990–1991 , as a result of the change by the Georgian leadership of the historical toponyms of the settlements of ethnic minorities in the region, the name of the village of Damirli (“ Azerb. Dirmirli ”) was changed to its current name - Hahalajvari. [6]
Geography
The village is located on the left bank of the Gedi River, 21 km west of the regional center of Bolnisi , at an altitude of 1100 meters from sea level. [7]
It borders on the village of Kazreti , on the villages of Creshi , Zipori , Geta , Darbazi , Pochkhistani , Tanzia , Ytsriya , Dzvznnariani , Dzveli-Kveshi , Kianeti , Dzhavshaniani , Senebi and Bechagali of the Bolnisi municipality and Didi- Dzmani, and Sdebi , Bechagali of the Bolnisi municipality and Didi- Dzmani, and Sdebi , and Béchagali of the Bolnisi municipality and Didi- Dzmani, and Sdebi [eight]

According to the State Statistics Committee of Georgia, according to the official census of 2002 , the population of the village of Hahalajvari is 359 people and 98% are Azeri . [9]
