The village is located in a picturesque place on the edge of Kasmalinsky ribbon forest 16 km. from the district center - the village of Pavlovsk .

Social Sector
On the territory of the village there are several educational institutions: the municipal educational institution “Chernopyatovskaya Secondary School”, a kindergarten, a village house of culture, a village library.
