The village is located in a picturesque place on the edge of Kasmalinsky ribbon forest 16 km. from the district center - the village of Pavlovsk .

Social Sector
On the territory of the village there are several educational institutions: the municipal educational institution “Chernopyatovskaya Secondary School”, a kindergarten, a village house of culture, a village library. There is also a branch of the Post of Russia, a branch of Sberbank, a first-aid station. The memorial of glory, which was founded and opened in 1975, has busts of the heroes of the Soviet Union: A.I.
