Majd al-Kurum [1] ( Hebrew מג'ד אל-כרום , Arabic. مجد الكروم ) is a local council in the Northern District of Israel , about 16 kilometers east of Acre . Its area is 9,000 dunams . Majd al-Kurum received the status of a local council in 1964. The name of the village is translated as “Vineyard of Glory” [2] , which reflects the glory of the city for the quality of the vine.
