The state-owned enterprise “Shinnik-Bobruisk Hockey Club” was registered by the decision of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee on July 10, 2008. The leadership of the city, together with the Belarus Hockey Federation , decided in the 2008/2009 season to create a club with the participation of members of the youth team on a rental basis so that they gain experience in the national championship and adequately perform at the upcoming World Championship in December 2008. In the debut season, the club took 10th place out of 14.
The second season was less successful for the club. One of the main reasons for this was the personnel revolution, which started in January 2009 and ended in the offseason. The team left all the players who were in the status of rented (and this is more than 9/10 composition). As a result, according to the results of the regular season 2009/2010 , Shinnik took 13th, last but one place in the standings. The next season becoming 12th, he closed it. In 2010, the Dynamo-Shinnik youth team was created as a Shinnika farm club and Dynamo Minsk . A year later, “Shinnik” stopped performing; in the 2011/2012 season, the decision of the Dynamo-Minsk HC management in the Youth Hockey League was made specifically by Dynamo-Shinnik.
