Douglas Ziyaevich Serazetdinov ( February 19 , 1934 , Aktyubinsk - 1994 , Alma-Ata ), inorganic chemist, doctor of sciences (1983), professor (1987). He graduated from Kazakh State University (now KazNU named after Al-Farabi). In 1956, researcher at the Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences. Serazetdinov developed the technology of the Republic of Kazakhstan - polyphosphate fertilizers, proposed methods for their directed synthesis based on the copolymerization reaction. The research results of Serazetdinov passed control processing at the Zhambyl phosphate, Zhambyl superphosphate, Zhana-Zhambyl chemical, DPO "Khimprom" plants. The author of 30 inventions, more than 200 scientific papers. Awarded with medals.
