Guy Lekanius Bass Cecina Pet ( lat. Gaius Laecanius Bassus Caecina Paetus ) was a Roman politician of the second half of the first century.

His natural father was the consul of the age of 37, Avl Tsetsina Pet , who committed suicide in the year 42, and his adoptive father was the consul of 64 years, Guy Lekani Bass .
In 70, Pet held the post of consul-suffekta . In 74, he was the curator of the shores and mouth of the Tiber . In 78/79, Guy was at the post of pro-consul of the province of Asia . From this time his letter to the manager Miletus [1] remained. In Ephesus, Bass was awarded a commemorative inscription for actively assisting the establishment of a pavilion with a mineral spring [2] .
Perhaps his son was the coin triumvir Guy Lekani Bass Cecina Flaccus. Apparently, Pet owned the property in the Italian city of Minturna [3] .
