The reason for the events of late September - early October 1964, which occurred in the city of Khasavyurt, Dagestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic , on national grounds (the Chechen-Lak conflict). In total, about seven hundred people took part in mass fights on both sides. At the same time, cold steel or firearms were not used, so there were no killed or seriously injured.
