Biography
Olga Simonova was born on November 26, 1938 in the city of Ordzhonikidze (now Vladikavkaz ) in a theatrical family. In 1956 she graduated from high school number 29 in the city of Kirov , in 1961 - the Kirov State Pedagogical Institute. V.I. Lenin . She worked as a mathematics teacher in high school number 16 in the city of Kirov . Later she entered and graduated from GITIS. A. V. Lunacharsky .
From 1964 she began to play in the Kirov Regional Theater of the Young Spectator. N. Ostrovsky , where she worked for almost 40 years. In the theater she performed more than 70 roles. In 1985-2001 she worked as a director of the theater and at the same time in 1984-2000 she worked as a director. As a production director, she staged 13 performances for both children and an adult viewer.
After leaving the theater in 2001, she was engaged in public work: she was the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Kirov branch of the Theater Union of the Russian Federation, a member of the committee on culture of the Public Chamber of the Kirov region.
