Braised sea ears with trepans
Trepangi (from the Malay tripang or trīpang ) - commercial edible sea cucumbers from the genera Holothuria , Stichopus and others. The fleshy wall of the body of holothuria is used as a food product. Trepangs are hunted mainly in the countries of Southeast Asia . In Russia ( Primorsky Krai ), Far Eastern sea cucumbers ( Stichopus japonicus ) are mined.
