Stepan Egorovich Bazyaev ( November 2, 1914 - September 23, 1973 ) - commander of the intelligence department of the 1317th anti-tank artillery regiment of the 13th Guards Rifle Corps, 2nd Guards Army of the 1st Baltic Front, senior sergeant.

Biography
Born on November 2, 1914 in the village of Petukhov Rudnik, Volgograd Region, Volgograd Region .
In 1936-1938 he served in the Red Army . In 1941 he was again drafted into the army, served in intelligence. He distinguished himself in battles at the final stage of World War II , during the liberation of the Baltic states and the storming of Berlin.
On August 23, 1944, Senior Sergeant Bazyaev Stepan Yegorovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree for the exemplary performance of the tasks of the command. August 12, 1944 re-awarded the Order of Glory 3rd degree.
On April 25, 1945, in the battles near Berlin, he scouted the whereabouts of eight enemy tanks and mortar batteries, crushed two machine-gun points and eliminated over ten enemy soldiers.
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of May 15, 1946, Senior Sergeant Bazyaev Stepan Yegorovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree for exemplary performance of the tasks of the command.
In 1945, demobilized. He lived in the city of Lytkarino, Moscow Region.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 23, 1963, Bazyaev Stepan Yegorovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree by way of redeployment.
He died on September 23, 1973.
