Stanislav Karol Luzhetsky (? - September 18, 1686 ) - statesman and military leader of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth , Podlashsky coughtan (since 1670 ), governor of Podolsky ( 1683 - 1686 ). Biography
Representative of the Polish noble family of Luzhetsky coat of arms " Lubich ". The son of Wojciech Luzhetsky and Marianna Oborskaya.
In 1660, Stanislav Karol Luzhetsky was appointed captain of the Cossack gonfalon, in 1667 he was elected ambassador to the Sejm. He was in good relations with the full crown hetman, Prince Dmitry-Jerzy Vishnevetsky . In 1670, the Polish king Mikhail Koribut Vishnevetsky appointed him Podljashsky cough . In 1686, Stanislav Karol Luzhetsky took part in the campaign of the Polish army under the command of King Jan Sobieski to the Moldavian Principality . During the campaign, I took an oath in Iasi from the Moldavian boyars. September 18, 1686 was sent against the Crimean Tatars and died in the battle of Gaur.
