Game career

In the first three years of his professional career, from 1943 to 1946 , Vick Lynn played 6 matches in three clubs from the Original Six - New York Rangers , Detroit Red Wings and Montreal Canadiens , until in 1946 he was not noticed by the general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs Conn Smythe, who was just looking for new young talents for his club at that time.

Over the next three years of his career, Lynn, who formed in Toronto, along with Howie Meeker and Ted Kennedy, the so-called “The KLM Line,” won three Stanley Cups .

In 1950, Lynn was traded to the Boston Bruins , and two years later he ended up at the Chicago Black Hawks , where he played the last two seasons in the NHL. Thus, Vick Lynn became the only player to play in all six teams of the Original Six.
