Biography
Born on April 30, 1904 in the village of Nachalovo now in the Volga region of the Astrakhan region .
In the army since July 1942. He distinguished himself in the final period of the Great Patriotic War .
The title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Golden Star medal was awarded to Vasily Makarovich Shenshakov on February 27, 1945.
Demobilized in 1945. He lived and worked in Astrakhan. He died on July 23, 1977.
