Biography
Born on April 17, 1917 in the village of Makovo, now Volodarsky district, Astrakhan region . He worked at a fish factory in the city of Astrakhan.
In the Red Army since 1938. He participated in battles near Lake Hassan in 1938. On the fronts of World War II from June 1941. Particularly distinguished in the battles in Hungary.
February 9, 1945 Mylnikov died in an unequal battle.
The title of Hero of the Soviet Union Georgy Stepanovich Mylnikov was posthumously assigned April 28, 1945.
