Biography

Born on November 3, 1913 in the city of Yekaterinodar, now Krasnodar , Ukrainian.

In the Red Army from 1932, again from 1935. [2] Participant in the Soviet-Finnish war of 1939-1940. On the fronts of the Great Patriotic War from June 1941. In the early autumn of 1941, he was sent to defend Moscow.

Near Moscow, he made twenty-nine successful combat missions, destroying several enemy tanks, two hundred and fifty vehicles with infantry, and burned seven enemy aircraft. He died on December 15, 1941.

By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated February 24, 1942, for the exemplary performance of the combat missions of the command and the courage and heroism shown at that time, Lieutenant Nevkipelom Georgy Terentyevich was posthumously awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union .
