Biography
On July 4, 1965, Gabriel Gonsum Ganaka was ordained a priest , after which he served in various Catholic parishes of the Diocese of Jos.
On May 17, 1973, Pope Paul VI appointed Gabriel Gonsum Ganaka as auxiliary bishop of Jos and titular bishop of Kuykula . On September 9, 1973, Gabriel Gonzum Ganaki was ordained a bishop by Bishop Ikot-Ikken Dominic Ignatius Ekandem , accompanied by Bishop Umuahia Anthony Gogo Nvedo and Bishop of Benin City Patrick Ebosele Ekpu .
On March 26, 1994, the Diocese of Jos was transformed into an archdiocese and Gabriel Gonsum Ganaka became its first archbishop.
He died on November 11, 1999 in the city of Jos.
