Biography
He was born on April 20, 1905 in the village of Prchnookopskaya, now Novokubansky district, Krasnodar Territory .
In August 1941 he was drafted into the Red Army . Provided communication of the command post of the regiment with battalions and companies. He participated in the battles in the North Caucasus, for the liberation of the Ukrainian cities of Ochakov, Odessa, Kherson. He distinguished himself at the final stage of the war in battles in Germany.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of May 31, 1945, for the exemplary fulfillment of the command assignments and the shown courage and heroism, Sergeant Kharlamov, George Nikolaevich, was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union posthumously.
