Nikolai Yakovlevich Khodosov ( December 27, 1913 - 1984 ) - commander of a foot reconnaissance platoon of the 29th Guards Rifle Regiment of the 12th Guards Rifle Division of the 61st Army of the Central Front, the foreman’s guard. Hero of the Soviet Union .

Biography
Born on December 27, 1913 in the village of Besleneevskaya now in the Labinsky district of the Krasnodar Territory .
Drafted into the Red Army in 1937. Member of the Great Patriotic War since June 1941. He defended the cities of Odessa, Sevastopol, Stalingrad, liberated Ukraine, Belarus, the Baltic states, Poland, and participated in the Berlin offensive operation at the final stage of the war.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 24, 1945, for the exemplary execution of the combat missions of the command and the courage and heroism of the guard shown, the elder Khodosov Nikolai Yakovlevich was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal.
After the war, the brave front-line intelligence officer was demobilized. He lived in the city of Sukhumi. He died in 1984.
