Kayagar language ( Kajagar, Kayagar, Kaygi, Kaygir, Wiyagar ) is an endangered Papuan language that is spoken on the south coast east of the Atochwaim language and south of the Avi-Asue language area of the province of West New Guinea in Indonesia . The number of people speaking Indonesian or Papuan Malay is gradually increasing, while the number of speakers of the Kayagar language is decreasing. In 1993, there were 10,000 of them.

The Kayagar language is more similar to the Tamagario language and is associated with the Atokhvaim language, which, like the Kayagar language, belong to the Kayagar language family .
