Biography
On June 6, 1981, Ignatius Ayau Kaigama was ordained a priest , after which he served in various Catholic parishes of the Diocese of Jalingo .
On February 3, 1995, Pope John Paul II appointed Ignatius Ayaya Kaigama as Bishop of Jalingo. On April 23, 1995, Ignatius Ayaya Kaigama was ordained a bishop by Bishop Yola Patrick Francis Sheehan, accompanied by Bishop Orlu Gregory Obinna Ochijaja and Bishop Makurdi Athanasius Atul Usu .
On April 14, 2000, Ignatius Ayau Kaigama was appointed Archbishop of Jos.
