Alexander Pavlovich Nechaev ( March 28, 1913 - November 13, 1976 ) - commander of the machine gun division of the 236th Guards Rifle Regiment (74th Guards Rifle Division, 8th Guards Army, 1st Belorussian Front), guard sergeant.

Biography
Born on March 28, 1913 in the settlement of Nizhnyaya Sotnya now Red October, Stanichno-Lugansk district of the Lugansk region . He worked at the state farm "Metalist".
In the Red Army since August 1940. At the front in World War II from September 1941. He participated in the Battle of Stalingrad, liberated the Donbass, Zaporozhye as part of the 3rd Ukrainian Front, crossed the Dnieper, liberated the right-bank Ukraine, Poland as part of the 1st Belorussian Front, fought in Germany, and stormed Berlin.
On October 22, 1944, for the courage shown in battles with the enemy, Guard Sergeant Nechaev was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree. On March 17, 1945, Sergeant Nechaev was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree.
Distinguished himself during the Berlin operation. On April 18-20, 1945, moving with the regiment to Berlin, he put down several firing points and destroyed a large number of machine gunners. In Berlin, during street battles, he also put down several firing points.
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of May 15, 1946, Sergeant Nechaev Alexander Pavlovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree for courage, bravery and heroism of the guard.
In 1946, demobilized. He lived in the city of Apsheronsk in the Krasnodar Territory . He died on November 13, 1976.
